Our Co-Founder, Amy Speaks at the Goop 'Live Boldly' Brunch hosted by Kailo & Dissh at the Calile Hotel
On Friday 2nd May, I had the honour of speaking at the Goop ‘Live Boldly’ Brunch hosted by Kailo & Dissh, held at the beautiful Calile Hotel in Brisbane. To be in a room curated by some of the most thoughtful, inspiring people in wellness and style, let alone speak in it was one of those rare, grounding moments where time slows down and everything just… lands.
When I stepped onto the stage, I wasn’t there to talk about a brand. I was there to talk about a feeling. I shared the story of how Zenniam came to life, not from a boardroom, but from a space between heart and healing. A space between my mother and I, who built Zenniam as a bridge between energy and elegance, meaning and beauty, self and other.
I spoke about connection. About how in a world that often glorifies noise, a world in an epidemic of loneliness that Zenniam was created to be a gentle, intentional pause. Something you wear not just to be seen, but to feel.
After I spoke, we invited each guest to open a custom Zenniam bracelet - a solitaire crystal design we created especially for this event, in Kailo’s signature tones. But instead of keeping the one they received, everyone was encouraged to swap their box again and again, connecting with others in the room until they found the one that felt right.
It wasn’t about the bracelet. It was about the exchange. About asking:
Who have I met today?
What did they awaken in me?
How do I want to show up in the world?
That little piece of crystal became a symbol of belonging, of boldness, of the truth that we are all supported in more ways than we realise. That the right energy always finds its way to us, if we’re open.
Being surrounded by such an incredible lineup of speakers made the moment even more special:
- Sarah Grynberg – our keynote, whose podcast A Life of Greatness has guided so many of us inward
- Maritza Barone – our warm and grounded host
- Zoe Marshall – who brings depth and vulnerability to every conversation
- Lucy Henry-Hicks – the force behind DISSH, who champions female-led creativity with courage
- Kate Malvenan – who moved us all with her resilience and strength overcoming terminal cancer
- Aron Baynes – whose story of athleticism, challenge and renewal left a lasting imprint
- Tanya Ali-Jani – graced us with a sound healing cermemony
Every one of us brought something different to the table, but what united us was the willingness to speak from the soul.
To everyone who was in the room, thank you. For showing up with your hearts open, for wearing your Zenniam with meaning, and for being part of something that felt far bigger than a brunch. This experience reminded me why Zenniam exists. To connect. To elevate. To remind us that anything is possible - especially when we show up for ourselves, and for each other.
With love,
Amy
